Welcome to Team Qoroz.

The SW Bike Academy was founded in late 2006 to enable some of the best young riders from the region to develop their cycling careers within a dedicated team environment. The team concentrates upon riders aged between 17 and 23 and has a real focus on the team ethic within cycling. Entering it's 4th full season and with enough experience now within the camp, great things are expected with the current group of extremely talented riders, the best and most balanced team the Academy has had.

Alongside the competitive arm of the Academy, a huge amount of time is dedicated to promoting cycling in schools with a series of assemblies and group presentations. In 2009, Academy riders talked to over 10,000 schoolchildren extoling the virtues of cycling as well as the importance of the Tour of Britain Pro bike race to the region. In recognition of the hard work done, the Academy has been chosen as ambassadors for the mass-participation Prostate Cancer Tour Ride, to be held in September 2010 in the SW. Now it is time to get 'bums on saddles' and enjoy riding.

The relationship with qoroz is fundamental to the development of both parties and the riders are expected to offer feedback to qoroz to further refine the Race Won.

A long fruitful season awaits.
